
Born in May 1984, Yosuke Hatano began playing the violin at the age of five. At seven, he began studying under Toshiko Nagura. He later attended the Toho Gakuen School of Music (High School Division, co-educational) and continued his studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
Throughout his education, he studied under renowned violinists including Masayo Okuda, Yuko Mori, Kyoko Takezawa, Fuminori Shinozaki, and Eiji Shirai in Japan, and Alexander Arenkow, Arkadij Winokurow, Michael Frischenschlager, and Gernot Winischhofer in Vienna.
Career Highlights
- Youngest participant at the Saito Kinen Chamber Music Study Group for Young Musicians
- Concertmaster of the Tokyo Junior Orchestra under the direction of Fuminori Shinozaki
- Participated in Seiji Ozawa’s Opera Project at the Ozawa Music Academy

- 2011: Released debut CD featuring sonatas by Mozart, Beethoven, and Strauss
- 2016: Performed violin and cello duo concert with Adalbert Skocic (former member of the Vienna Philharmonic)
- 2017: Released second CD My Favorite 18, including works by Kreisler and others
- 2017: Solo recital at Lila Hall, Fujisawa
- 2013‒2023: Annual performer at the Shonan Eye Bank Charity Concerts (Fujisawa Civic Hall)
- 2021: Performed at a violin concert hosted by the Turkish Association
- 2022: Gave a Christmas concert at the official residence of the Ambassador of the Netherlands
- Ongoing solo and chamber music performances across Japan, including numerous charity concerts
